Incorporation of the Offender Development Services (ODS) into the Life Enrichment Program, serving both Lancaster and Lebanon counties
Dedication of Personal Care Unit and new Skilled Nursing Care Wing at Luther Acres
Acceptance of a 39-acre parcel of land from St. John's Lutheran Church, Columbia for development of a retirement community
1988
Establishment of affiliation of LSS-ER with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Purchase of a 19-acre tract of land in Lebanon County for development of a retirement community (Plans call for the purchase of additional land when it becomes available.)
1989
Beginning of the Intensive Family Services Pilot Program in Lancaster County
Groundbreaking for the St. John's Herr Estate Retirement Community, Columbia
1990
Development of the LAMB (Linkage, Advocacy, Materials and Blessings) Ministry, providing services to assist older adults and persons with disabilities to live as independently as possible and providing support for their caregivers.
1991
Dedication of St. John's Herr Estate Retirement Community, Columbia
Opening of Lebanon Valley Child Care and Learning Center, on campus of Lebanon Valley College, Annville
Authorization of LSS-ER to become Local Management Agency for all subsidized child care programs in Lebanon County.
Consolidation of Family Preservation Project, Intensive In-Home Services for Drug-Free Youth in Lancaster County and Counseling Services into LSS-ER's Clinical Services.

Opening of Activity Center at St. James Church, Lebanon
1994
Renaming of Resource Center to Lititz Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Resource Center
1996
Renaming of Lutheran Social Services - East Region to Luthercare
Relocation of Lebanon Valley Child Care and Learning Center to 40 South King Street, Annville
Renaming of Lebanon County Local Management Agency to Child Care Bank of Lebanon County

Dedication of Chapel of the Good Shepherd/all-purpose room at St. John's Herr Estate

Completion of 20 additional cottages at Luther Acres

Dedication of Agape Way, the late-stage memory-support residence and program at Luther Acres
Dedication of Muhlenberg Townhome (apartments), Lodge (assisted-living, including early-stage memory support), and Cottages, and new physical therapy and activity rooms at Luther Acres Manor
Dedication of Grace Place Children's Center, a cooperative ministry of Grace Lutheran Church, Lancaster, and Luthercare
Affiliation completed by Luthercare Counseling Services with Samaritan Counseling Center, Lancaster

Construction and opening of the Wellness Center at Luther Acres
Luthercare celebrates it's 55th year anniversary
2005
Construction for Memory Support Center Expansion begins on Spang Crest Manor
Dedication of Wellness Center at Luther Acres
St. John's Child Care and Learning Center moved to the former First English Lutheran Church and renamed Columbia Child Care and Learning Center
Luthercare became an approved Lutheran Disaster Response(LDR) site
2006
Opening of the Christman Memory Support Centar at Spang Crest Manor offering an 18 bed memory care assisted living and adult day services program
Sold Oak Crest land in Lebanon to assist with funding of expansion at Spang Crest Manor
Purchased the Gard farm adjacent to St. John Herr's Estate
Renamed Reamstown Before- and After-School Program to Reamstown Child Care and Learning Center
