At Luthercare, we understand that running a child care program from your home is a daunting task.  Even if you have a background in child development or child care, you may not have had much training or experience running a business.  Luthercare is here to help.

Our Child Care Provider Mentoring Program is a personal mentoring program designed to help you discover the ins and outs of the child care business. We give you the opportunity to connect with trained child care providers for information, encouragement and resources – free of charge.  Your only investment is your time and energy.

Our professional mentors will meet with you to:

• Help set personal and professional goals for your child care business
• Help establish a professional network
• Find training opportunities and professional child care resources in your local community
• Provide information about early child care development and teaching strategies
• Share ideas about discipline, scheduling and planning
• Help organize the physical setting of your child care home

Mobile Mentoring

Our mentoring vans come to your home to share ideas and help link you to appropriate resources.  The vans work like a library system, allowing you to check out resources, toys, books and games.  In addition, information from Keystone Stars, local Quality Child Care Development offices and professional development groups are hand-delivered to you.

Luthercare offers Mobile Mentoring service in both Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.
