Luthercare is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
Matching Gifts from your employer can expand the impact of your contribution. To find out if your company or your spouse’s company offers a matching gift program, contact your company’s resources department for the necessary forms. After you complete the required information, send the form to Luthercare along with your contribution. (This includes Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members.)
Securities such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds are easily transferred to Luthercare. The total value of a gift is based on the average price of the stock on the day it is transferred.
Stocks can be used as outright gifts or to fund charitable gift annuities or charitable remainder trusts.
