Luthercare Announces Promotions Supporting Community Outreach and Luthercare for Kids

Luthercare is pleased to announce two key promotions within the organization.

Lorita Valente, Luthercare’s Director of Child Care Information Services (CCIS) of Lebanon County, has been named Executive Director of Community Programs, and Jamie Reichenbach, Coordinator of Mentoring Services for Luthercare for Kids, has been named Director of Early Learning for Luthercare for Kids. Ms. Valente and Ms. Reichenbach began their duties on August 20.

Luthercare Awarded Grants to Support Child Care Programs

Luthercare was recently awarded two grants to benefit Luthercare for Kids’ Mentoring Program in Lebanon County and Systems Aligned in Learning (SAIL), a collaborative effort between Luthercare for Kids and four agencies in Lancaster County.

On Tuesday, May 8, at 4 p.m., Grace Place Child Care and LearningCenter, a Luthercare for Kids center located at 517 N. Queen Street, Lancaster, cut the ribbon on their new playground.

Columbia Child Care & Learning Center Unveils New Playground

On Tuesday, April 24, Columbia Child Care and LearningCenter, a Luthercare for Kids center located at 200 N. 5th Street, Columbia, cut the ribbon on their new playground.


Participating in the ribbon-cutting event were Mayor of Columbia, Leo Lutz, Luthercare Board Chairperson, John Saeger, and Center Director, Cynthia Hogg. Also in attendance at the celebration were friends, families and children.
