5th Annual Red, White and Blueberry Jamboree at St. John’s Herr Estate

The 5th Annual Red, White and Blueberry Jamboree will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the St. John’s Herr Estate (a Luthercare community) campus, 200 Luther Lane, Columbia. It will feature the famous 300-pound blueberry pie. At 1 p.m., WGAL’s Jack Hubley will do a special presentation. Fun activities include Chris Ivy – Juggler, games for children, pie eating contest and a moon bounce, as well as live music.

The 4th Annual Red, White and Blueberry Jamboree will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the St. John’s Herr Estate (a Luthercare community) campus, 200 Luther Lane, Columbia. Again, it will feature a 300-pound blueberry pie. At 12 p.m., WGAL’s Jack Hubley will do a special presentation. Fun activities include games for children, face painting, a dunk tank and moon bounce, as well as live music. The celebration will have a pie eating contest, the Turkey Hill Cow, the Columbia Consolidated Fire Department, the National Watch and Clock Museum and the Brush.

Luther Acres Hosts Jack Hubley and Birds of Prey

On Monday, April 30 at 7 pm, Luther Acres, a Luthercare community, is hosting WGAL TV's Jack Hubley as he presents "Birds of Prey" in the Luther Acres Towne Center Community Room, 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz. This program is open to the public and free of charge to all who attend. The North Lancaster Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is sponsoring this program and providing a wonderful learning opportunity for the local community.

Spring Courses - reDiscover a World of Possibilities

Luther Acres, a Luthercare community, 600 E. Main Street, Lititz, is offering a variety of courses for their Spring "reDiscover A World of Possibilities" program. The courses are one day a week and some cover a 2, 3 or 4-week period. All are open to the greater community. The courses are on the Luther Acres campus and have varying fees for residents and non-residents, some are free. The purpose of the "reDiscover" program is to provide an opportunity to learn new things, be creative, enrich minds and have fun.
