Our History
Luthercare celebrates over 70 years of service to Lancaster and Lebanon County residents. We warmly welcome individuals from all faiths and traditions.
Luthercare was founded in 1949 when a group of devoted Lutheran congregations recognized the need for quality living and care for seniors as they aged. We have continued to grow and to ensure seniors in Lancaster and Lebanon counties have access to an enriching, active and fulfilling lifestyle. And our commitment to children and families is reflected in our Luthercare for Kids Early Learning Programs.
Strongly rooted in the Lutheran commitment to serve, Luthercare is a not-for-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to serving the youngest and oldest in Lancaster and Lebanon counties and beyond.
