Lights of Luthercare Illuminate Luther Acres

Residents plan for Annual Holiday Bazaar at Luther Acres

On Friday, November 20, and Saturday, November 21, Luther Acres will hold its Annual Holiday Bazaar. The doors of the Community Room, in the Towne Center at 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz, will open on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m. Saturday sales will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. In order to accommodate our customers, we will utilize cashier stations close to the doors. Shoppers will be able to pay for their total purchases at one station. As an added convenience, one of these locations will be able to handle credit card purchases.

Luther Acres Offers Fall Courses

Luther Acres, a Luthercare community, 600 E. Main St., Lititz, is offering a variety of courses for its Fall 2015 "reDiscover A World of Possibilities" program. The courses are one day a week, and some cover a three-, four- or six-week period. All are open to the greater community. The courses are held on the Luther Acres campus and have varying fees for residents and non-residents. The purpose of the "reDiscover" program is to provide an opportunity to learn new things, be creative, enrich minds and have fun!

The first swing of a club in 1994 started a continuing stream of generosity from countless corporations, foundations and individuals. The dollars raised for the Luthercare for Kids Scholarship Fund are a financial lifeline that helps more than 60 percent of the families with children enrolled in a Luthercare for Kids Early Learning Center afford tuition.

This newly formed joint venture between these two leading senior living providers is intended to serve the needs of those who could benefit from home care and in-home supportive services.

Luthercare and Moravian Manor to Make Historic Announcement on Major Joint Home Care Initiative

Luthercare’s SAIL Collaborative Awarded a Collective Impact Grant from the United Way of Lancaster

Luthercare and five collaborative partners have been awarded a United Way of Lancaster Collaborative Impact Grant for its SAIL (Systems Aligned In Learning) proposal submitted in February 2015. The SAIL Collaborative will receive $207,000 each year during a three-year funding period, for a total award of $621,000.

Annual Strawberry Festival to be Held at Luther Acres Campus

The Annual Strawberry Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2015, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Luther Acres, a Luthercare community, 600 East Main Street, Lititz. Strawberries, ice cream and shortcakes will be $4.00 each. The Friends of Luther Acres will also offer hot dogs, chips and drinks for $3.00. The Strawberry Festival will be held on the lawn in front of the Luther Acres Healthcare Center, rain or shine.
