The community will host a free seminar, "The Gift of Conversation," presented by the Age Wave Initiative of Lebanon County, on Thursday, March 19, from 8:00-10:30 a.m. The Age Wave Initiative's Advance Care Planning coalition will present on Advance Care Planning, how to have your own conversations and how to become better informed about making medical decisions. THE WELLNESS FAIR & OPEN HOUSE HAS BEEN CANCELED AND MAY BE RESCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE. Luther Acres, the Luthercare senior living community in Lititz, will host its 9th annual Wellness Fair and Open House on Thursday, April 30. The day features educational seminars from 8:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. and a health fair from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The health fair, with the theme “Wellness Rocks!,” will take place in the Community Room at the Luther Acres Towne Center, at 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz. Seminars will take place in and around the Towne Center. The day’s events are open to the public, and there is no charge to attend. More details to follow.
THE SALE WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR THIS FALL. The spring Attic Treasures Indoor/Outdoor Garage Sale sponsored by the Luther Acres Residents’ Council will be held on Friday, May 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 2, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 515 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, near the St. Matthew Road entrance to Luther Acres, the Luthercare senior living community in Lititz. Items for sale include gifts and collectibles, kitchen items, furniture, linens and soft goods, toys/puzzles, artwork, electronics, tools, picture frames and other odds and ends, including numerous items for holiday decorating. All proceeds benefit the charitable activities of the Residents’ Council. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. You won’t want to miss this sale!
