Shoppers and bargain hunters are invited to St. John’s Herr Estate’s annual Fall Fest on Saturday, September 19, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The popular community event features a large indoor yard sale, bake sale, and homemade food offerings, all under one roof at St. John’s Herr Estate, the Luthercare senior living community located at 200 Luther Lane, Columbia.
Visitors can browse a wide selection of treasures and collectibles, including gently used books, puzzles, jewelry, household items, home décor, mixed media, and more, all at affordable prices. Talented community bakers will offer an array of homemade treats for purchase, while guests can also enjoy chicken corn soup, hot dogs, sloppy joes, and beverages. The chicken corn soup is prepared by the dining team at St. John’s Herr Estate and will be available by the bowl or quart for dine-in or takeout.
Sponsored by the St. John’s Herr Estate Residents’ Council, Fall Fest serves as both a community gathering and a fundraiser. Proceeds from Residents’ Council fundraisers are donated to local nonprofit organizations, helping support important programs and services throughout the region.
