Luther Acres to Host Community Book Fest Featuring 30+ Authors

Luther Acres, a Luthercare community in Lititz, is pleased to announce its upcoming Book Fest, a free community celebration of literature, creativity, and lifelong learning. The festival will take place on Saturday, March 28, and is open to both Luther Acres residents and the general public.

Now in its second year, the Luther Acres Book Fest will feature more than 30 fiction and nonfiction authors representing a wide range of genres. Attendees of all ages are invited to enjoy author talks, book signings, and opportunities to connect with writers – many from across Lancaster County.

“Our Book Fest was so well received last year, bringing people together through stories, creativity, and conversation,” said Beth Bucher, Manager of Wellness Programs at Luther Acres. “With more than 30 authors participating this year, we’re excited to see the event grow and to welcome readers, writers, and community members of all ages to celebrate a shared love of books and lifelong learning.”

Throughout the day, authors will present book talks not only about their published works, but also on a variety of topics, such as writing realistic fiction, creating compelling story settings, and navigating the risks and rewards of a writer’s life. Guests will also have opportunities to purchase books and meet authors.

The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Luther Acres Towne Center, located at 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz. Admission is free and open to the public. Giveaway baskets will be distributed, and Spud Muffin, a Lancaster County-based food truck featuring fresh-cut fries, smash burgers and more, will be on-site throughout the event.

Community members of all ages and literary interests are encouraged to attend. For more information about the Book Fest, visit www.Luthercare.org or contact Beth Bucher at 717-626-1171, ext. 1691, or bbucher@luthercare.org.
