To support students who are planning to pursue a career in the nursing industry, Luthercare is currently accepting applications from local high school seniors for its 2021 Nursing Scholarship Program.
Candidates must be in their senior year and planning to enter the nursing industry. Students from the following high schools are eligible: Manheim Township, Manheim Central, Columbia High, Lebanon High, ELCO High, Cedar Crest, and Warwick. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded per school. Applicants are required to complete an application and write an essay (750 words, max) describing why they should receive the scholarship and why they are interested in the field of nursing. The application can be found here Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation; one from a teacher or coach, etcetera, and one from a community member. Scholarship applications will be accepted through April 15th, 2021. All materials should be submitted to Blake Daub, Luthercare’s Senior Vice President Human Resources and Administrative Services, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail at 600 East Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
Last year, Luthercare awarded $1,000 scholarships to eight deserving recipients who were passionate about the nursing field.
