This year, the Lancaster Walk to End Alzheimer’s returns to its regular format and location, and we encourage you to join Team Luthercare in this cause!
Luthercare has committed to be the exclusive Promise Garden Sponsor for the upcoming Walk and is forming a team of residents, staff members, friends and family members.
The walk, which is organized by the Greater PA Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25, in Overlook Park, Lancaster. The walk is one of hundreds held annually nationwide and raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The schedule for Lancaster’s walk is: 9:00 a.m. registration; 10:00 a.m. ceremony; 10:30 a.m. walk.
There is no fee to register or walk, and donations are not required. This inspiring event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Participants who register with us by August 31 will receive a complimentary Team Luthercare t-shirt!

At Luther Acres, two “Registration Days” are being held for campus residents on Thursday, July 29, and Thursday, August 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. outside Katy’s Grill and The Round.
Luthercare team members who participate in the walk can earn a Wellness Point toward the Luthercare’s “Choose Well” Wellness Program.
Luthercare is a strong supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and knows the profound impact Alzheimer’s disease has on families as both our Luther Acres community in Lititz and our Spang Crest community in Lebanon offer memory care services.
